Rc3 Basketball Program
A Vibrant Basketball Program for boys and girls ages 4 years through high school.
At Rc3, providing opportunities for youth to become active is one of our main goals. During the winter, we offer a vibrant basketball program for boys and girls ages 4 years through high school! Teams practice one evening a week and play the game(s) each Saturday at the Rc3 gym. All games are played internally, against other Rc3 teams in the same age division.
Registration: (OCTOBER 16 - NOVEMBER 18)
LATE REGISTRATION: SPOTS REMAIN IN MOST AGE GROUPS. COME BY Rc3 TO REGISTER OR CALL 423-775-0821. ADDITIONAL $10 FEE.

Details:
Ages: Boys and Girls 4 years old- high school. Teams will be divided by age/grade. Anticipated divisions
will be 4 years old (5U), 5-6 years old (U7), 7-8 years old (U9), 9 - 11 year olds (U12), middle school, and high
school. *NOTE- According to TSSAA rules, if a player is rostered with a school team (middle or high school, JV, or Varsity) they cannot play in a rec league. See your school coach if you have any questions.
Refunds: Upon request, a full program refund can be issued IF uniforms have not been ordered. After
uniforms are ordered, the program fee will be refunded minus the uniform fee. No refund will be
issued for any reason after the 4th week of games.
Clinics:
Nov. 16 -6:00-7:30PM: Free clinic for 4-year-olds through high school with Coach Roy Pankey
DEC. 21 9:00-12:00PM: ANNUAL ROY PANKEY CHRISTMAS CLINIC FOR 4 YRS-HIGH SCHOOL. If able, bring a new toy to be given to deserving children on Christmas Eve.
Grading Day: All participants ages 5 yrs old- high school are asked to attend the grading day on November 18. 9:00 am: 5 - 6 year olds / 9:30am: 7-8 year olds / 10:00am: 9 - 11 year olds 10:30am: Middle School - High School. Participants will be evaluated on basketball skills and athletic ability. Results will be used by the basketball committee and coaches to help build equal teams.
Teams: Team rosters will be determined by age division and the number of participants/teams. Special requests for coaches and/or teammates are NOT GUARANTEED.
Coaches/Refs: Coaches are always needed! If you are interested in volunteering, please be sure to check the box on your player’s registration form. All coaches will be required to attend a coach’s meeting and complete a background check. Rc3 will provide a referee(s) to officiate all games.
Practices: 4 year olds practice and play on Saturdays only. 5 years old and up will have 1 practice per week in the Rc3 gymnasium.
Games: All regular season games will be played each Saturday at the Rc3 gym beginning December 9 until February 10. There will be no practices or games December 19- Dec 31st. The season schedule with team game times will be distributed once teams are determined.
Uniform: Each participant will be given an Rc3 team jersey. Parents provide shorts and shoes for their players. Shoes must be rubber-soled athletic shoes.
Pictures: Team and individual pictures will be taken during the season. The picture order forms and schedule will be given out prior to the specified date. Pictures are not included in the registration fee. Parents may order picture packages at additional cost if they choose. Picture day will be January 13th, 2024.
Other: Once your player is registered and has participated in the grading day, you are simply waiting for a phone call. All players should be contacted by their coach or Rc3 by Friday, November 22, 2023. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Rc3 at 775-0821.
