Kid's Nutrition Series

Purpose: To focus on highlighting the positives of good foods (whole grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables). To empower children with the knowledge

and skills they need to establish healthful habits to carry them well into adulthood with a fun and tasty experience.

This is a Food for Life class structured by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Lacy Catao is an Educational Alliance Program Partner with PCRM, and is a Holistic Health Practitioner, specializing in plant-based nutrition and longevity wellness.

Classes:

Class 1: Breakfast - Oatmeal & Smoothie Tasting/Bingo Activity

Class 2: Snacks - Red Pepper Hummus & Chocolate Mousse/Plant Charades

Class 3: Lunch - Salad Bar w/ Dressing Options/Blindfold Test

Class 4: Dinner - Pasta Bar/Review of "Power Plate"
